    Description

This Bugle is loaded with History, both WWI and British.  It was manufactured by Henry Potter & Co as a British Military Instrument at the Charring Cross, London location between 1860 and 1900.  This antique bugle became a Presentation Bugle in 1956 when it was presented to The First Battalion Hertfordshire Regiment which emerged in 1908 as part of the Territorial Army.  It was first mobilized as WWI began in 1914.  It was the only battalion to serve overseas.
