HISTORY
J. Gras was a dealer of musical instruments and possibly a maker. Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy may have been a supplier of instruments for Gras. Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy also used "Brevette" and "Fournisseur de l'Armee" inscriptions their instruments. Thibouville was the descendant of a line of woodwind and brass instrument makers dating back to the 16th Century.
NOTES
The tuning slide still works (amazingly).
A small number of obscured holes in the tubing.
Natural character and petina due to the aging process.

Condition is pre-owned with normal wear consistent with an age of approximately 100 years. Rating item condition is subjective, especially for an antique.
